Monday Nov 26, 2018
In a bonus third instalment of his Yoga Vasistha satsang series, Swami Shankarananda expands on the four 'gatekeepers of liberation' - self-control, inquiry, the practice of contentment and keeping good company. Listen as Guruji explains the importance of cultivating the friendship of these four major aspects of our sadhana (spiritual journey), and how we as yogis can do so.
Guruji completes his satsang series with a final question and answer between his beloved guru, Baba Muktananda and a devotee. Baba's beautiful answer explores the ideas of the 'unreal mind' and how instead of viewing the mind as a separate entity, we should speak to it with love and therefore, let it return to consciousness.
