This week in satsang Swamiji delivered a program on the Stoic philosophies. In this talk, Swamiji explored the teachings of Epictetus, Marcus Aurelius and Seneca on; living with intensity and purpose, tailoring your thinking to the present reality and detachment. Swamiji also discussed the Stoic philosophies on choosing the right attitude, the relationship between anxiety and desire, taking care of our inner state and the best way to give people advice.

Satsang with Swami Shankarananda: Ramana Maharshi - 31 August 2019

At satsang Swami Shankarananda delivered a talk about the great sage, Sri Ramana Maharshi. In this talk, Swamiji explored Ramana's teachings on knowing the Self, the relationship between karma and tendencies, looking within, and the power of the mind. Swamiji also discussed Ramana's fundamental method of self-inquiry.

Satsang with Swami Shankarananda: Lord Krishna’s Birthday - Sri Aurobindo - 24 August 2019

 In this weeks satsang, Swami Shankarananda celebrated the Hindu God Krishna through a talk on the great sage, Sri Aurobindo who wrote a commentary on the Bhagavad Gita. In this talk, Swamiji comments on an excerpt from Aurobindo's biography of his time in jail as well as some of the recorded correspondence between the sage. These writings included Aurobindo's teachings on the light of consciousness, opening to divine grace, meditation and becoming established in the Self.

This week in satsang, Swami Shankarananda gave a talk on his Guru, Baba Muktananda in celebration of the anniversary of his shaktipat or spiritual awakening. 

In this talk, Swamiji discusses Baba's teachings on achieving realisation, increasing devotion, mantra repetition, the bliss of the pain of separation and the Guru.

In celebration of the great saint Bhagavan Nityananda's Maha Samadhi anniversary, Swami Shankarananda gave a talk in satsang dedicated to his life and teachings.

In this talk, Swamiji discusses Bhagavan's esoteric teachings on merging with the Self, the power of the mind, renouncing negative tendencies, finding true fulfillment, kundalini, and the relationship between desire and the mind. 

In this satsang, Swamiji also read from a special report on Baba's visit to Bhagavan's temple on his return to Ganeshpuri from his second world tour.

In this talk Swamiji shares a series of question and answers between Nisargadatta and his disciples on finding awareness, moving past illusion, self-Inquiry, karma, desire, meditation, self love and understanding consciousness.

Satsang with Swami Shankarananda: Baba Muktananda - Guru Purnima Celebration - 13 July 2019

In this weeks pre-Intensive satsang, Swami Shankarananda discussed his Guru, Baba Muktananda. In this talk, Swamiji read an article he wrote for Baba's ashram magazine for Guru Purnima in 1976 on the true purpose and meaning of the Guru. Swamiji also read from several Q&A's between Baba and his devotees on having multiple Guru's and the concept of spiritual ego. 

At the end of this satsang talk, Devi Ma read from Baba's own devotional writings dedicated to his Guru, Bhagavan Nityananda.

In this week's satsang, Swami Shakarananda officially opened The Ashram's Winter Retreat with a talk dedicated to the esoteric sage and founder of his lineage, Bhagavan Nityananda. In this talk, Swamiji read from writings of Bhagavan's disciple, Baba Muktananda, spoke about his life and deciphered his abstract teachings on spiritual topics such as devotion, cultivating awareness and the concept of consciousness.
