In this weeks satsang, Swamiji explored the teachings of Vedantic sage, Nisargadatta Maharaj. In this talk, Swamiji expanded on Nisargadatta's views on awareness, following the upward shift, the four states of being and the concept of yogic philosophies as tools of consciousness.

Satsang with Swami Shankarananda: Bhagavan Nityananda - 30 November 2019

In satsang this week, Swami Shankarananda celebrated the birthday of the great saint, Bhagavan Nityananda of Ganeshpuri, India. In this talk, Swamiji explored Bhagavan's aphoristic teachings on becoming one with the infinite, the sacred sound of Om, the concept of Shiva/Shakti, the power of the breath and mastering thought and feeling.

Satsang with Swami Shankarananda: Question and Answers - 23 November 2019

In this week's special satsang, Swami Shankarananda answered spiritual questions asked by devotees. In this session, Swamiji answered questions on the use of Self-inquiry and Shiva Process to transform emotions, how to manage negative emotions and the expression of negative matrikas. He also answered questions on the the mind and self love and how Kashmir Shaivism views the meaning of God and our existence.

Due to the high volume of questions, Swamiji will be holding another satsang where he will answer the remaining questions.

Satsang with Swami Shankarananda: Krishna Menon + Ramdas - 16 November 2019

In this weeks satsang, Swami Shankarananda gave a lecture on the teachings of Krishna Menon and Swami Ramdas. In this talk, Swamiji explored Menon's spiritual ideas of the 'I' principle, resting in awareness, knowing the true self, deep sleep and the importance of continuing the inner search. Through a series of question and answers, Swamiji expanded on Ramdas' teachings on the practice of mantra.

In this weeks satsang, Swami Shankarananda explored the teachings of the esoteric mystic, G.I. Gurdjieff. Through the writings of a notable student, P.D. Ouspenksy, Swamiji expanded on Gurdjieff's ideas on the 'I' nature, the relationship between consciousness and the body, self observation and self remembering, and his notion of 'The Fourth Way'.

Kundalini Awakening with Swami Shankarananda - Sunday October 13 2019

This is a special edition podcast recorded on Sunday 13th October 2019 at the Kundalini Awakening Intensive in Mount Eliza, with Swami Shankarananda. The Intensive was held in honour of Baba Muktananda’s mahasamadhi.

The Meditation Intensive is a day dedicated to Shaktipat, the inner awakening of the kundalini energy. This podcast includes Swamiji’s morning talk before giving Shakitpat, and his afternoon question and answer session.

In this weeks satsang, Swami Shankarananda gave a talk on his Guru, Baba Muktananda. Through a series of questions asked at a press conference during one of Baba's world tours, Swamiji explored his teachers thoughts on the importance of teaching young people about their inner world and self-Inquiry, finding greatness within, and the true meaning of enlightenment. Swamiji also spoke about Baba's teachings on matrika and the power of language, mantra repetition and the difference between material and spiritual wealth.

Satsang with Swami Shankarananda: Notes From The Tea Shop - 26 October 2019

This week in satsang Swamiji shared from his 'Notes From The Tea Shop'. These are contemplations, considerations and dharanas that Swamiji has written over the last 20 years. He spoke about the balance of truth and kindness, a mahavratta or great vow, and guided us through a meditation on Consciousness. Devi Ma also read from The Siddha Path, the magazine that Swamiji and Devi Ma both worked on during their time with Baba Muktananda in the 70s. The Siddha Path is where Swamiji originally published his Notes From The Tea Shop.

In this talk, Swamiji explored Nityananda's utterances on the benefits of meditation, discovering the inner-Self, reincarnation, contentment and moving past attachments to the personal. Swamiji also read some of Baba Muktananda's writings from his book 'Bhagavan Nityananda' on merging with the Self, devotion, and the four states of being.

Swamiji discussed Baba's teachings on awareness, fulfilling the highest aspect of ourselves, finding the divinity that exists within every person and overcoming tearing thoughts.
